Evernote Feature Request – Desktop Mode for iOS

I use Evernote for just about everything. I recently started my masters and found that when I’m studying I constantly flip between the same notes each time. For example, if I’m going through sample problems to prepare for test I would look at notes from the last lecture, the note for reading notes, and the note that contains the answer …

OwnCloud – Just Not Ready

So I have been getting questions about my ownCloud installation. All sorts of stuff, and all very legit questions. Its a great project and I think think it has some real …

LinkSys e1200 Router – Wireless traffic is SO slow

My Linksys e1200 Wireless router was working great for a couple of months and then all of a sudden the speeds went to a crawl. How it works … “if this than that” can automate actions from all sorts of different sites based on triggers. Pretty much the sky is the limit here, and you can …

Firewall Timeout Workaround – Auto Reload Page

So I’ll be the first to admit this isn’t the most ground breaking thing in the world, but it sure saves me a headache at work. The issue I was having is that the firewall would server my internet connection if there was more than 15 minutes of inactivity. So any of my periodic sync’ing programs would fail when they …

ASP.Net Log File Function

So this is just as much for me as anyone reading this. This is a quick little function that will detect if a log file has written for the current day. If one doesn’t exist then it will create one, if it does exist then it will timestamp and append the log message to the file. public static void writeToLogFile(string …
